Our 13-Week Accelerated Program
At NXT LVL Dental Assistant School, our accelerated program will teach you how to work as a dental assistant in just 13 weeks. Covering all aspects of the profession from basic dentistry, to healthcare ethics, office management, and sedation techniques, this accelerated program focuses on everything you need to know to excel in your new profession. As you complete this program you will receive online instruction along with hands-on training in a clinic to satisfy the required amount of hours for certification in Nevada.

Each week of this program consists of designated viewings of online lectures, as well as required reading from the textbook (or e-book). At NXT LVL Dental Assistant School, we understand that our students come from many backgrounds. Whether you’re working full-time, have a family to care for, or you’re fresh out of high school, everyone’s life looks different. For this reason, the online lectures and readings can be studied at your own pace throughout the week.
For the required reading, students will receive a Dental Assistant School Delivered: Student Lecture Book as well as a Dental Assistant School Delivered: Lab Book upon enrollment. Students will need to purchase or rent an e-book of Modern Dental Assisting 12th Edition copyright 2018, by Bird, L. Doni: Robinson, Debbie. The quizzes cover the material in this book.
Hands-On Training
There is an in-person lab session once a week to provide the hands-on training that really makes a difference in this profession. Our lab sessions allow you to learn from your peers, immerse yourself in the day-to-day of the job, and garner a real understanding of what is required of you as a dental assistant.
In-person lab sessions are held at Dr. Staten’s very own practice, Desert Hills Dental in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Quizzes & Exams
Quizzes and tests are used to ensure students are keeping up with the required reading material and to assess progress throughout the course. Quizzes and tests should be expected during each session of the program.
